Terms of Service

Last updated: May 26, 2026

1. Acceptance

By using ChargeCatch ("the Service"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. What ChargeCatch Does

ChargeCatch is a subscription tracking tool. It uses on-device OCR to read bank statement screenshots you provide, identify recurring subscription charges, and provide step-by-step cancellation instructions. All image processing occurs locally in your browser.

3. No Financial Advice

ChargeCatch is not a financial advisor, bank, or regulated financial service. Cancel scripts and subscription information are provided for informational purposes only. Always verify instructions on the official website of the service you're canceling. Phone numbers and URLs may change — we are not responsible for outdated information.

4. User Responsibilities

You agree to: use the Service only for lawful purposes; not attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or circumvent any payment or Pro-tier mechanisms; not upload images belonging to others without authorization.

5. Pro Subscriptions

Pro plans are billed monthly ($2.99/mo) or annually ($19.99/yr) via Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled. Refunds are handled at our discretion — contact support@chargecatch.com within 7 days of charge for refund requests.

6. Cancellation

You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time through your Stripe billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that OCR will detect every subscription or that cancel scripts will always work. Company names, pricing comparisons, and third-party information are provided in good faith but may change without notice.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ChargeCatch shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration rather than court proceedings.
